4725.00 is not a lot of money for a young couple. Should be able to save this in 10 months if they are giving it good effort , and that’s assuming they have very low paying jobs.

It is best to introduce the dog to it when they are pups, but at 85 lbs, that has passed. Let your dog sniff the clippers. Gently touch the Clippers to his nails. Use treats to reward his good behavior to those actions. As he becomes comfortable around the Clippers and you start to actually cut, continue with treats. That might help.
