All this money is wasted at central office. Very little goes to students or in room teachers

-teacher salaries for all elementary, middle schools and high schools.

-parks

I don't rent, but I know people who do have clean 1/2 BR apts that they can "AFFORD" and no maintenance/repair fees. They are paying for a place to live....same as those who bought a home. The equity part of this is so overblown in today's culture.

I lived in an apartment when I got out of the Navy. The first few months were ok, then a cockroach infestation occurred. My apartment was on the second floor apartment and I determined they were coming up through the sink. While maintenance had no problem treating my apartment, I had to convince management that I was not the source and to inspect the apartment below mine. I can only imagine how bad that apartment must have been for cockroaches to crawl throught drainage pipes to get to my apartment.

In a typical housing bubble, homeowners start losing money then lose their home, driving prices down. That will never happen because Black Rock will never face that issue.

I am a capitalist who believes in taking care of the planet. I have never mentioned DEI once and don’t really care much about it.


So you advocate renting, even though you own, and have probably realized large equity gains if you have owned the property for more than five years.
