Don't care what the offense "looks like." Only care if it's good enough to win games. It's illogical to change to an offense that competes against the most storied and best funded FB programs in the country for the top talent in the smallest recruiting footprint (its not basketball).

Stoops was stupid for trying to change to a passing based offense. The reason why we did well in the 2 seasons was the running game with a good enough passing offense. Going away from that formula has us where we are. Same place we were before we established the solid and perennial running game.

It's amazing the refusal of many to remember the best we did with a passing offense before Stoops. 8 wins total but couldn't beat UF or UT. Barely beat UGA a couple times. Just amazing the selective memory....

I don't think it's that. They don't have the ability to feel embarrassment or shame. I think it's more that other posters on here have finally stopped engaging with them so they aren't getting the attention. They crave attention and if they don't get it, they'll seek it elsewhere.

You hit the nail on the head about their inability to feel embarrassment or shame. The Sams, The Canucks, Monday Nitro and his previous 200 accounts. It's more than just having a decent pass offense. Even with 2 competent RB's, they won't try to establish a running game. Coen thought he had to use 1001 plays, and Hamden gets away from things that are working and tries to do things for which he doesn't have the personnel. Today's latest and greatest OC's think they have to be so innovative instead of sticking to the basics.
