Citizens protesting, politicians grand standing because Pick-N-Save grocery store in downtown Milwaukee shutters, and moves to the suburbs, because out of control violence and theft at the location, made operating a store there untenable. (And 84 year old woman was beaten so badly, while loading her groceries, that she got an extended stay in the hospital)

Did they address the REAL issue? Nope, it's the company's fault.

It's sop.

They are creating a problem to be the saviors to solve a problem.

Allow rampant crime while telling normies that crime is at 50 year lows. Again, don't believe your lyin' eyes. Anyone that would have had an voice to object, resident or commercial, pulled up stakes and moved as far away as their pocketbook would allow.

It's the same play of pushing out the most vocal objectors lib run school districts. Once all that could afford to went to private schools, were libs satisfied or did they go full on Marxist?

Either government operated stores to provide basic needs when no one else will continue business there. (Groceries won't be the last word. There will be Nike deserts too.)

Or

What if big gov treated grocery stores like a military contract and paid Kroger cost plus 10%? :ROFLMAO: I laugh, but could also see that happening.

These stores will be funded just like all gov programs are funded.

Complex and competing music genres back then. Freaking disco held a stranglehold on America for what seemed like forever during 70s. Hence back-lash on BeeGees by American radio DJs when "You Win Again" released in 1987. Ramones served as a bright light. Read somewhere they held record for loudest concert for a few years.
The disco scene was booming in Frankfurt Germany in the mid to late 70's. Used to go there a lot to a few to pick up the ladies. Most notably one called the Drop In in Sachsenhausen part of Frankfurt right around the corner (a block or so actually) from the Irish Pub. The Drop In went down below ground and was pretty big.

Oh, indeed. Booming all over Germany. Some towns had 2 or 3 dance clubs. In Burbach, we had Big Bend and the Highway. One drove the other out of business. Great times, for sure.

Louisville's west end is constantly slammed as a food desert. Eventually kroger or someone opened a spot there, knowing it would be a losing venture.

It was burned down in the riots. Now its once again called a food desert and capitalism is blamed.

You cant make this stuff up.

Hope this isn’t a bandaid excuse to keep Stoops another year. We’ve already been through this numerous times.
I thinks UGA could have hung 50-60 points had it wanted. Hamden’s offense has been bad, but the White/Stoops defense has also been bad. Who knew the strength of out backfield hung so dearly on the health of Waller? Maybe our WRs were so bad in the fall that the coaching staff believed the DBs were a strength?

Is it possible to go bat **** crazy just long enough to throat punch a wife?

I got out of the shower feeling frisky, so I sashayed into the kitchen and ask my wife "Do I remind you of Warren Beatty"....she started laughing and said no, "more like Ned Beatty" WTF...
Should have just waited for her to get in the shower and just ambushed her like I did mine this morning. It works most of the time. I don't care if I look like Warren Beatty or Warren Buffet if she wants to have the shower to herself, she has to take me out first. Heh, heh, heh.

They will lose more in revenue than his buyout is worth next year if they keep him. They can’t afford to NOT fire him.
The buyout shouldn't figure into the decision. They're going to pay him regardless of whether they fire him.
