Which is why I have never joined them. They send me correspondence all of the time. They are a very liberal organization. I used to get mail from them all the time wanting me to join. I guess they finally decided I wasn't going to join as they eventually gave up. I am not giving them a dime of my money.
They call Trump the bully, but they think their ugliness is cute and are in denial of their bully natures. This needs to be dealt with......

Rush used to address this all the time. Basically, he'd say that liberalism is a gutless decision. Liberals can stand for anything at any time. Almost as bad as the moderates. Why is it so hard being a Conservative and so easy being a Liberal?
UK football is in the top 20 for NIL. The problem isn’t money, it’s that top portal offensive players don’t want to play for Stoops.
The last 3 years despite the obvious need for a starting QB we’ve ended up with washed up players that have been passed over.
The money is there, and winning would increase it. Stoops era was over the moment he decided to eff around with Texas A and M. Barnhart didn’t even attempt to counter offer, the Aggies backed off, and are now in the top 5, we lost the bowl game, and Coen left.
They also need to delete up the middle runs against a defense that shut it down basically the whole game, then try the same up the middle run in overtime
Without the guys, you have to play the perfect game to win. That's not realistic.
Take a look at Indiana's roster, in relation to most of the BIG10.
I agree with one thing though. It's completely unrealistic to expect a perfect game with Stoops as head coach.
Here's what I say; let's take care of the things we can, and get a coach that can get us playing smart/good, and go from there. Because right now, we're stuck on abysmal and stupid.
Talent level is not our most immediate issue.
I think what Bill was saying is UK is top 20 in NIL resources, not top 20 in roster talent. He suggests the top talent won’t come play for Stoops even though they could get paid handsomely at UK. So theoretically, a simple upgrade on coaching could make a world of difference in overhauling the talent on the roster.Lets assume you are correct we're top 20. I doubt that highly based on our roster. Other than RB and maybe TE, we don't have a single player who would start for another SEC team. We had to move a CB to ILB for goodness sakes.
But let's assume.
Know who would be ahead of us? Everyone in the sec except vandy. So that means we're bottom two in money, which means we're bottom two in talent - so we will be bottom two in results.
UK football is absolutely dead last in revenue share which makes it hard enough just bey messaging alone. Then add the nil issue too and we just don't have the guys. Without the guys, you have to play the perfect game to win. That's not realistic.
It's hard to believe IU can sustain their success for any extended period of time. But who knows. Cignetti's expectations just got a whole lot bigger with that new contract. He's not going anywhere for a while, but IU is not an easy place to recruit to. Their recent success might make it a bit easier though.Take a look at Indiana's roster, in relation to most of the BIG10.

Give Kingsbury the job and let him call the plays. It's hard to believe IU can sustain their success for any extended period of time. But who knows. As for us, we need a coach that doesn't clam up when it appears we have a chance to win a big game. We need a risk taker. And by that I don't even mean a gimmicky, highway gambler type coach, but someone who doesn't think worst case scenario when calling plays close to or in the Red Zone. Our defense has always proven it could keep us in some ballgames. Georgia is about the only game they didn't this year. even the SC game, Two of SC's scores were from their Defense, within seconds of each other. Stoops problem has always been offensive philosophy or lack thereof. We can be having a great drive only to clam up and abandon everything we did when we get close to the red zone. I don't think he took shots at the end zone before the half or before the end of regulation when we had time because he feared an interception or a sack might take us out of FG range. you can't worry about those instances when trying to win a ball game. That's when you have to bow up and take risks. When you play to win and take risks, your team tends to respond.
The Basketball roster proves we could step up and pay if we really wanted to. I'm honestly of the mindset, that so much of the revenue and NIL was shifted to basketball as a backhanded way to push Stoops out the door, and to get championship #9 sooner rather than later.I think what Bill was saying is UK is top 20 in NIL resources, not top 20 in roster talent. He suggests the top talent won’t come play for Stoops even though they could get paid handsomely at UK. I suppose that may be true, though I tend to think if UK REALLY wants to step up to contender status, it will take replacing Stoops with the right coach AND being top 5 or higher in NIL roster spending. Basically make it very hard for the absolute best players to turn us down, and have the means to go poach particular impact players in the transfer portal whenever necessary.
Hes right but.... stop the funding. They know exactly where it comes from. Shut it down. Get doge back if needed.
Talent level is not our most immediate issue.
Kingsbury was like Mumme as a college head coach, started out gangbusters, but eventually fell into mediocrity and has a losing record at Texas Tech and with the Arizona Cardinals. He's a better OC than a Head Coach. Zero emphasis on defense. But yeah, he could light up a scoreboard.Give Kingsbury the job and let him call the plays.
Completely false. really bad take. The Texas fans sitting around me in the stadium were ready to trade Manning for Boley. Nothing but good to say about how he was playing, and they know a thing or two about football. Boley has all of five career starts. He's shown marked improvement from the SC game to this one. How many sacks did he avoid with his feet against Texas. He's at the mercy of his coaches playcalling now. With time and the right coaches calling plays for him, he could easily be a top 5 SEC QB. Boley hasn't been our problem the last two games, far from it.It all goes hand in hand. UK has generally had one or two NFL caliber players, but low-mid tier talent otherwise, and some who don't belong at this level. Same w/ this team, especuially at the skill level positions....WR/QB/RB/DB.....no elite players to be found. Boley willl be a decent QB in time, but he isn't SEC caliber for the most part.
