What exactly would a ubi be? Like SS, not enough to live on?
From what I understand, UBI would be given to every adult citizen as a means for basic living needs. Then, those who want a better life would continue to work to have more. But for me, I think that if you give people enough to survive, many would not want to work.

Trump guaranteed a Republican-only Ball Room just by naming it. No way a Dem ever steps foot in it now. 🤣

My heart is getting to old for 3+ more years of this laughing.

Purdue definitely isn't the most "athletic" team, but they're big, and physical, and we whipped them on offense down low, right in their face, almost all game long. And beat them on the boards by NINE. They scored more in the paint than we did, (thanks to several late game lapses) but we shot 47 percent for the game (shooting 30 percent from three) I don't want to hear any crap about them not scouting us either. We were obviously the better team. They were overrated and we're underrated. PERIOD.

I wonder if the barbarians made tearful speeches about prejudice as they sacked Rome?

New York has to be the stupidest city on the planet. Almost 25 years after 9/11 they are gonna elect a guy who stands with the evil SOBs who took those towers down.

On one hand it would be funny to see him win and completely wreck that city so people can see how garbage socialism is. On the other hand it's scary seeing people like him be elected anywhere in the country. Islamists are gaining power in this country and it is a major problem that I don't see America recovering from. How can it?

Make Sharia illegal and declare Islam to be a national security threat. Put them all back on planes, all except the most pre-eminently skilled. Completely stop any Muslim immigration.

And don’t look back.

Well now. THAT was quite the statement by Kentucky Basketball.

Suddenly, I care even LESS about this year's football team.
Only got to watch the final 10 minutes or so of it but my take away from the few minutes I watched...wow Malachi Moreno is an absolute monster. Does Garrison even get any playing time once JQ is back? I just can't see how you don't give Moreno minutes when JQ returns.

Also Jasper feels like Robert Dillingham 2.0. Really impressive looking.

I know it's a preseason game and both teams were probably more focused on figuring out rotations and stuff...but we basically stuffed the Boilermakers in the locker. The number 1 team in the country. And UK did it with 2 starters missing. Sure seems like UK is underrated at #9.

So now we're quoting the ever reliable NYT???

Couple days back I heard an Amazon person say robots will reduce hires by 500K, but that no one would be laid off.

As a person in the board rooms of decent size companies (that you probably never heard of) im telling you i see these roadmaps with my own two eyes.

If these small/midsize companies have the plans i see, i cant even fathom the level of wipeout planned by business like Amazon.

Unfortunately that wont help tens of millions that will be without jobs
We should open up more old folks homes and increase the amount of people working in those places to take better care of our aging population. I am only posting this because I need a place to go when I get in my 70's where I can get a nice sponge bath.
