Would not go that long. He'd pass out as I entered the ring.Thank you for your service sir.

It was an honor for me to serve. The one thing I will agree with Milothejanitor is that was my life for a long time but not for the reason he thinks. God, Country, Family, Cats.Thank you for your service to my country, sir
I do! Thank you for your service, brother! That and it is Veterans Day tomorrow so, he feels the need to attack me as he has in the past. Once again losing the argument. He just needs to admit it; he wants to be like me.
how pathetic is someone like sam? who only comes on here to troll.Of course. Poor people are poor, no matter who they vote for, and they all accept freebies. Look at warrior and lost in fl. Both blind Trump acolytes, both rob us of our tax dollars.
The violent left at it again.
dude, you thought the GOP was losing the PR battle just last week. This will move the needle too. Trust me.I agree its pr. It just doesn't reach the undecided voter that will decide important elections.
Im all for making splashes to help win elections. I just don't see this as moving the needle for undecideds.
anyone with a functioning brain knew what you meant...False. Learn about Puerto Rico's current position and how close they are to being the 51st state. canada will have to get in line. Using Nerf guns to shoot fish. LOL canadian know how.
do the same for charity, as in who donates more...
yep, retired here, after 30 years. There are plenty more here that served as well like Austintxcat, Berniecarbo (Vietnam vet) The clown (Air Force) we will forgive him for that one. Lost in Fl, I believe as well and there are more.
Milojanitor cannot be very bright picking fights with the American military with his canadian upbringing being his only training. LOL and he thinks he is intelligent. Lord Have Mercy!
Well, I don't know how long before it gives out but I do know it is made of chicken so...yep, retired here, after 30 years.
Isn't it interesting that 1) someone must have such a pathetic life and must be such a loser to go to a sports board, of all places to pick a fight, every single time they visit. 2) if he is so smart ... how come he never says anything ... you know ... smart? He never once wins an argument. Not only does he never win an argument, he doesn't add anything to any discussion. He just insults. Every single post. Wonder how long until his liver gives out?
his wife's boyfriend cheated on her ... take off, 'eh. Hoser...The canucks boyfriend must have broke up with him tonight. Seems to be really hitting the bottle hard tonight.
he does his drive by and then disappears for a few weeks. Maybe he saves up to buy posts or something? or he only gets limited computer time at his nut house.Well, I don't know how long before it gives out but I do know it is made of chicken so...
We are talking about people with government jobs. If an ATC can't make it for six weeks, that ATC employee is not living within their means.Young people who live within their means can struggle if you turn off the spigot for six weeks.
Exactly. I am retired but wife still works so she drives the newer vehicle (most reliable) we have which is a 2017 Nissan Rogue, I drive my run around hoopty (2005 KIA Sportage) and a 2007 Ford F150 (fishing and hauling). Was waiting until I turned 70 (3 months over 68 now) to buy the next vehicle for her and then get rid of the KIA and take her Rogue as my next hoopty, but KIA has been acting up so we are looking now to replace it. Waiting for those year-end sales to come around. We are talking about people with government jobs. If an ATC can't make it for six weeks, that ATC employee is not living within their means.
Data from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics suggests that the median salary for an air traffic controller in 2024 was $144,580 per year, equating to approximately $69 per hour. This is significantly higher than the median salary for all jobs across the US, which is currently around $46,300.
The average federal government salary sits at around $97,456 in 2025, individual pay can vary dramatically depending on a range of factors.
One of the most significant influences on a federal employee's pay is where they work. Unlike many private sector jobs, the federal government uses a locality pay system to adjust salaries based on the cost of living in specific geographic regions.
The military families are the group that gives me concern. They are the people living on thin margins and quickly impacted if payday does not happen. Federal government employees, not so much to my understanding.
I have been RIFed more than once in my career with no safety net other than my savings and UI. Twice, my wife and I were simultaneously RIFed from different completely unrelated companies. Once in the same week and the other in the same month. Dual income to UI income while my daughter was attending private school.
We made it by tightening the belt when hard times hit. The majority of our vacations were spent at home doing the home maintenance that is difficult to do while working. I drove my 1994 F-150 for 25 years. We never drove a car for less than 10 years. I currently drive a 2010 Ford Fusion and my wife drives a 2018 Ford Edge. My first home loan was at 18%. Live within your means and save money for the rainy day that is guaranteed to come.
I stand by my statement. It's not what you make. It's what you spend.
Stepping off of my soap box.
the fvkrunner
I’ll send the fvckrunner 6 months of pay by wire right now. You do the same. She will be floored by the difference, but she can hold the money until you find whatever fantasy post you’re referencing then she can send it all to you. It’s not that hard, chief. Probably more money than you’ve made in the last 5 years just for a simple board search.
I wouldnt do it but I can see where it could help a lot of people if the banks are willing to extend loans out that far.Is there anything to prevent you from paying it sooner thereby lowering the interest paid or does it prevent you from choosing a shorter loan term? If not I don't really see the problem.
Besides, if you’re an ATC or any government employee who could be impacted by a shutdown, don’t you probably have a large emergency fund set back, knowing that shutdowns are a thing? We are talking about people with government jobs. If an ATC can't make it for six weeks, that ATC employee is not living within their means.
