We should also force any university/college who gets federal funds to only offer classes in things that will allow students to get actual jobs when they are done. No more completely useless degrees.

Yes, and if a university has these courses and a student picks one as a major they should not be eligible for a student loan. If a university has graduated a student with a useless degree and the graduate defaults on their student loans, the university should be required to pay off the student loans. Universities have millions and some even billions in endowments. Make the colleges and universities pay. Take the student loan program away from the U.S. government and make colleges responsible. This mess would clean up. and fast.

If we had a law that required universities to pay back student loans for graduates that could not find employment in a major after 2 years, we would see rapid improvement with this problem.
I actually enjoy it and a few of them I even like.
Just found out last wknd that my sister’s grandkid now owes $80k in student loans after receiving her masters degree in sociology.
Or, if you offer useless degrees and the student bankrupts the loan (see Bigblueinsanity’s suggestion in thread), the school has to pay back the loan. Somehow, the schools needs to have skin in the game. Not just raise the price of education to greatly outpace inflation and financially rape students, but actually back your product.
