The outcry leads us to revisit a 2014 claim from former Secretary of State John Kerry. Kerry said in a television interview that in Syria, "we got 100 percent of the chemical weapons out."

Politifact, a far left site, pulled their assessment that Kerry's comment was mostly true.

How about this comment by Trump? “We’re spending $6 trillion dollars on wars in the Middle East, while our own country falls into total disrepair,” that statement read.” Now Hillary wants to start a shooting war in Syria, in conflict with a nuclear-armed Russia, which could lead to World War 3.” Are you seriously going to ignore Trump's ignorant blathering while focusing on John Kerry? So what Kerry said it? Maybe they were "out". Maybe since '14 they've acquired chemical weapons. Maybe John Kerry had bad intel. Who really gives a **** if John Kerry was wrong 3 freaking years ago? How about what your glorious cheeto said about WW3?

Kerry wasn't the only idiot making that claim. Rice made the same claim. On what basis? Assad's word? LMAO.

Obama saw Assad use chemical weapons and did nothing even after he drew his famous red line. He was leading from behind. Trump saw the devastation of those weapons, he saw the dead children and he acted. No vacillation. No leading from behind. Assad thought he could get away with it again, he was wrong. New sheriff in town.

BTW, this article and testimony indicate that Obama knew they still had chemical weapons and lied about it.

Over at The American Interest, Sean Keeley observes that the Obama administration most certainly knew that the public line they were pushing about removing chemical weapons from Syria was a lie:

In Congressional testimony last February, Obama's Director of National Intelligence James Clapper acknowledged "gaps and inconsistencies in Syria's declaration," validating reports that Syria was still hiding banned chemicals at undisclosed locations. And on its way out the door in January of this year, the Obama Treasury quietly introduced new sanctions against Syrian officials involved in chemical warfare. Buried in the language sanctioning a particular official was a telling admission: "As of 2016, Abbas has continued operating at locations in Syria associated with chemical warfare-related missions."

Whether or not the Obama Administration knew of this particular sarin facility, then, they clearly knew that Syrians were still clinging to their stockpiles at several locations. They knew what Adam Garfinkle has been saying allalong: that Obama's deal to remove chemical weapons was not a historic diplomatic triumph but an unenforcable sham that the Syrians and Russians never intended to comply with.

Despite such evidence of dishonesty, the media have been awfully credulous about the Obama administration's self-serving claim of having rid Syria of chemical weapons. Now we know better. In fact, Keeley goes on to note that general revulsion at participating in the Obama administration's dangerous charade has led many former Obama administration officials to support President Trump's actions in Syria.

Well, at least he (Trump) didn't draw a "red line" with Syria that meant nothing just like your red text quoting Trump in this post means nothing. We acted, and now the dynamic has changed with us holding the leverage. After Obama's phony red line, Russia moved into Syria and we sat by doing nothing while they bolstered Assad's forces which led to the atrocities we are now trying to put an end to.

Trump is showing what American leadership looks like and how it operates when it's in the hands of someone who knows how to lead. Something we've missed for the past 8 years.

This action reminds me of Reagan's actions with Gadaffi in 1986 after the Lockerbie plane crash. Libya would not turn over the terrorist. Reagan was furious. He alerted NATO as to his plans. France refused to cooperate by allowing a flyover of their country. Reagan was undaunted. He avoided French airspace and sent that cruise missile down Gadaffi's chimney anyway. The message was sent even though Gadaffi was not killed. The terrorist was turned over.

It was also a not-too-subtle hint to that little dog eating nip in North Korea Kim Jong Un. Trump was just letting him know what he can expect if he doesn't stop lobbing missiles into the Sea of Japan. Tell me that Dude wasn't paying attention to all those cruise missiles coming in on target?

He was, no doubt. I read this morning the Trump Administration is considering two options. Send nukes to South Korea as a deterrent and/or taking out Kim Jong-un. I wonder how much sleep he is going to get at night while worrying about silent drones overhead?

I think both he and Assad are living on borrowed time. They may wake up in the middle of the night with one of those things hovering over their head, and as soon as they make a move to turn on the light....kaboom!!!!!!!
