It's Mussel & Burger Bar and yes. I work for the company that owns them. There's two of them. Amazing food.
Waffle fries, when correctly prepared, are awesome. Inherent crispness is critical for the overall effect.
From earlier today at Scholz Garten (founded 1866) here in ATX. The accompanying Currywurst was also good, albeit abnormally spicy.

Didn't know that the Ole group sold out of that concept completely. According to this they were bringing in outside investors so that they could concentrate on growing their Taco Luchador concept plus adding a steakhouse to their portfolio. I guess the sale gave them the money to do those things.

The overall surface area of waffle fries make them superior for dipping in sauces or cheese.
Photo snapped summer 2010 in Felixstowe, England. Check out the monster fries (chips), which, I suppose, one might liken to our steak fries. Robust. Delicious. And, of course, a lovely glass of Aspall cider standing close by.

Those fries look terrible.
Lovely. Thick. Light crispness. T'was great. Note condiments bowl adjacent thereto. Mayo made for even better culinary experience.
Well we were those outside investors. We were set to be involved in Taco Luchador but that fell through. We started as part owner in MBB but pretty soon after bought them out.
