So as of tonight, these are the remaining B1G duals on the schedule:

2/9: Maryland
2/14: @ Ohio State
2/16: @ Illinois

Injuries can always happen. And there's no guarantee that every PSU starter will wrestle in each of the aforementioned matches (Davis is a question mark against Maryland).

But assuming that PSU's starters do wrestle each match in the 3 remaining B1G duals:

Maryland: PSU will have the higher ranked wrestler in each match
Ohio State: PSU will have the higher ranked wrestler in every match except 141 (Jesse Mendez is #1; Bartlett is #3)
Illinois: PSU will have the higher ranked wrestler in every match except 133 (Lucas Byrd is #4; Davis is #7)

So if it goes chalk, PSU would have 7 losses (which is the 7-10 range in the poll). If PSU wins 1 of the two matches where they are not ranked higher, PSU would have 6 losses (which is the the 4-6 range in the poll).

It will be interesting to see how things play out.

Based on recollection, 4 losses by backups (2x @133, 157, and HWT) and 1 medical injury default (157). That is 5 of our 10 losses to date.

It doesn’t seem the PSU gets as many as they used to. They don't give up many either.

IIRC legit losses by starters- 2 for LL, one each for BD, SVN, LH, and JB; …

plus the non-counter for BB in the preseason all star event, avenged last night…

Will be interesting to see how many of the above losses are avenged in the BIG and NCAA tournaments!
