Then there is ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac, Rush (Canada), Allman Brothers, Lynard Skynard, Sly and the Family Stone, Heart, Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Glass Harp, Styx, Van Halen, Canned Heat, Grateful Dead and a million I missed. Loved them all.

Boys, boys, boys, as my late grandfather used to to say, "If everybody liked the same thing, then everybody would want to jump your grandmother".

I’d also like to go on record I dislike supertramp. A blind spot too?
While we’re chatting, what do you know about lunching in Bend?
Take the long way home.
went to see elo last year. What a band!!!
Can’t forget Chicago either as an American band or Earth Wind and Fire.

singles meatloaf and michael so good.

More great bands.
Early inxs, furs, new order, etc
Of course The cure, the police and u2.

Still think the Beatles are the best and the poll is correct imo of Led Zeppelin on top. Loved waiting on a friend by the stones though.

Led is the winner!! 48 1st place votes. Rolling Stones only 45. So sad.

No trophies for second place in this contest.

Whether it's the Fast Times influence, or just the nature of the music, Led Zeppelin reminds me of an older dude trying too hard to "seduce" a younger girl. It's something about Plant's vocal stylings ... and that's why some folks say Led Zep never changed styles - it doesn't matter what “style” they're playing when Plant is doing his Led Zep era "crooning." And you kinda grow out of Zeppelin.

Stones are more diverse and more accessible ... and have more staying power as a result.

The Who was kind of middling, although Baba O'Riley may be the best song from any of the 3.

1 was saying Pavement. I hung back cause I was beat up from the night before but boys he’s super special. We had no idea what an amazing guitarist he is. Blew us away. I’ll be right up front at the fest next month. They turned schit up live, including his vocals.

The Beatoffs couldn't read sheet music.

Worst fakes than the Fartchies and the Monkees.
