Just curious where Mullen stands with everyone. I've been sensing some that wouldn't mind if MSU had a different HC next year. Let your true opinion be safe in secrecy unless you comment and reveal it anyways.

I would love for Dan to stay; he's done wonders for the culture BUT changes on the staff have to be made. BIG changes. Wilson has to go(hire Mike Elko) and Koenning should be on a short leash. Dan should take $150,000 and hire a REAL special teams coach while he focuses more on the offense.

If I had the money, I would pay to extend his contract. He has brought us a very long way, won us three egg bowls and changed the culture of MSU football. I would start with a new OC and DC. Mullen is still on good ground in my book. Things are subject to change I guess. I would atleast hope he gets the golden egg back from the bears. That would forever leave them pissed off. Knowing Mullen got the last laugh.

One thing I would like to point out. I hear many people get pissed at Les. DO you or anyone else really think Les runs the offense?

Which Mullen ? The one that came in and coached with a fire in his belly and couldn`t recruit a hooker in Las Vegas or the one that now recruits his *** off and can`t even get his team up to play OM ?

I second that. Mullen is still on my good list. If you were at MSU from 2002-2005, then I'm betting he's still on your good list too.

In Mullen we trust.

Look, he does a lot of stupid stuff, but he's turned a total shitfest into a team you don't need to be embarrassed to wear a hat supporting.

If we got rid of Mullen, the next year would be like this year's basketball team.

I wish people could get this^.

We all invested in a Rolls-Royce dealership, MSU football. We hired a hot-shot manager, Dan Mullen. The dealership is in a small, poor area, MSU. The dealership gave us a 6% ROI, 8-4 season. Not bad for a dealership in its early stages, especially considering that it is competing against dealerships in LA, South Beach, and NY (Bama, LSU, GA). In fact, the manager is considered a sales genius. However, at our yearly stock holders meeting, Sixpack, we decide that the dealership needs to fire all of its salesmen, assistant coaches. These salesmen helped accomplished the sales that gave us the 6% return. The manager is glorified for the job he has done. In the past he promised us a 20% return and we believe that those sorry *** salespeople are standing in his way.

It'll give Richard Cross something to mention just before going to commercial break, and not give 2PLO4SHO a chance to respond to it.

My opinion of Mullen has not changed since the first season. I don't like his offense or his game day strategy, but he does so much for MSU off the field that he more than earns his salary. When we have a couple of losing seasons, we can talk about dumping Mullen.

Mullen is the best coach to happen ever at State. Great year for the Bullies and a bowl to look forward to. Merry Christmas everyone!

No ****. Do people not remember f'n crooms?

We lost to our rivals. It was going to happen eventually. Time for our team and fans to wipe their vaginas off and get ready for our 3rd straight bowl game. 17.

I don't think the problem is with running the offense. We seem to execute against teams where we have a talent advantage. The problem is when we play against a team with comparable talent on defense, and they have a good game plan, we don't adjust what we do. We just need a new play caller. If Mullen has been calling plays, he needs to step back. If Les has been calling the plays, mullen needs to either take over or fire Les and hire somebody else. I have a hard time believing Mullen has left the play calling to Les despite the shittastic performance, so I'm guessing Mullen was calling the plays on Saturday.

The one thing I will say is that our scripted plays at the beginning of the game always seem to work unless an obvious lack of execution (e.g., dropping an easy catch). I know sketching out a script over the course of a week is a lot different than calling plays during the game, but that still makes me think somebody on the staff can call plays.
