I voted "no" only because I don't even know how to compare them. Newton is a bigger, faster, quicker, tougher, smarter version of Relf with a stronger and more accurate arm.

Having a QB who can run well and a QB that can throw well does not = a QB that can run and throw well.

ETA: Newton didn't throw that well, but he threw a lot better than Relf did

more athletic, without a doubt, they have a tailback at quarterback and we have a fullback
more accurate, TBD--newton only completed a few passes that were longer than a 5 yard completion...most of his yards came after the catch

Newton is not a good passer. Very few of his attempts were even down field. He thinks he's getting NFL tutelage but he will never play QB in the NFL. He was more accurate than Relf tonight but consider Relf's dropped passes. He is over rated. Not drinking the Cam Newton kool-aid. He is not Vince Young. Maybe he will be but I have my doubts.

Relf didn't drop any passes and Newton had the ball snapped to him properly every play.

Sure Relf made some bad throws but Newton did too. We simply **** the bed with our lack of receivers catching the ball and not playcalling to our strengths.

Relf has got to become the man, the leader... right now he a bag of potential and a sack away from ****.
