It’s not that important to me. I’m there watching game. My friends/family are watching on tube. Don’t care about any other game during ours. Don’t need to be able to call 911 since there are a plethora of medical people already there. 17 itIf you voted no - why wouldn’t you? I like being able to text my groups.
I shouldn't have to purchase it here when other stadiums have it for free. That'd be the most Mississippi State thing ever.If you voted no - why wouldn’t you? I like being able to text my groups.
I don’t buy it on planes either. I can go 4 hours without WiFi. I would just tell myself I’m here to watch a game, not have a good WiFi connection. If you voted no - why wouldn’t you? I like being able to text my groups.
Exactly. Why should the fans foot the bill for something that comes standard everywhere else on the planet?I shouldn't have to purchase it here when other stadiums have it for free. That'd be the most Mississippi State thing ever.
If you’re willing to pay for all that, 5 bucks seems like an easy decision to meI've never had a problem texting during games, but I do usually have problems just getting scores from other games on my phone, or Twitter to load.
However, no way in hell I'm paying for Wifi when I'm already paying big bucks for season tickets, Bulldog Club, etc. The sites will eventually load.
Here's a midthread hijack - why not more USBC jacks in the phone charging stations?
To clarify, I'm not paying $8 for Diet Coke either. We really have people that will pay $8 for a Diet Coke but not $10 for wifi. Amazing.
I hear you.To clarify, I'm not paying $8 for Diet Coke either.
I voted yes but depends on the cost and how good it isLike a flight.
In 2025 that should be an expected amenity at a sporting event. If you voted no - why wouldn’t you? I like being able to text my groups.
If it’s free, it won’t work.In 2025 that should be an expected amenity at a sporting event.
But I will pay $27 for a double Tito's and cranberry at a ballgame! To clarify, I'm not paying $8 for Diet Coke either.
I do agree it should be expected but if my option was to not have it - I'd pay the $5.In 2025 that should be an expected amenity at a sporting event.
I know that this really isn’t your point, but if MSU really did partner with someone to offer pay to use WiFI, I guaran-damn-tee that it wouldn’t be $5-10. Think of the most ridiculous number that you can and then double it. That’s what they’d chargeWe really have people that will pay $8 for a Diet Coke but not $10 for wifi. Amazing.
Auburn and Verizon upgraded J-H a few years ago. It would cost us some money, but it should be on Selmon's list to address sooner rather than later. (If you don't click the link, Auburn paid $6 mil and Verizon paid $4 mil.)I do agree it should be expected but if my option was to not have it - I'd pay the $5.
Well, I was at the game the other night with one of my kids but two of the others were spending the night at friends' houses. I like to be able to stay in touch with them. My niece was in the hospital having a baby, so I would have preferred to have solid service for updates. I also have a text group commenting on the game, which I would be willing to pay $5 to stay involved in so we can bittch about the game in real time. Those are just examples from this past Saturday. No If a person can't go 3 hours without a cell phone, they are an addict! Oh, I am older but I have Wi-Fi in my cars and 2 systems at my house. One internet for me and one for guests when they come.
