He sounds like a great pick up! I think with him also wanting to play baseball, he is more likely to stick to his commitment.

Somebody will leave, but I’m sure he will be the best in the near future.

I hope he’s a cat but it’s hard to see a HS recruit ever staying around long enough to play with the portal.

Would be a nice get, but with the MLB draft and Stoops on the downward trajectory. Not sure if we’d ever actually see him suit up!

Not till after MLB draft July 13-14.
Wrong draft. He isn’t eligible until next year’s draft.
Anyone know when he will commit to the Cats?
He’s playing in a baseball tournament this weekend and didn’t want to distract from his teams’s event. He is expected to make a decision soon after he returns to Cincinnati.

Adam Luckett is really high on this guy, thinks he is very underrated and Luckett is not a guy known for hyperbole, he calls them as he sees them.
OTOH I'm wondering about trying to play two different sports at this level. I don't know much about the specific development characteristics of quarterbacks vs. pitchers but there could be some compromising there. IMO it would be in his best interest to give it a year and then make a decision and then focus on the one he wants to play at the next level.

Kylar Murray managed to do it at OK and won the heisman. I think he was drafted by the A’s b4 his heisman winning year. Not saying the avg joe can do that but it’s possible

Thanks for the clarification. I just assumed since he was a QB he was a BB pitcher, but we all know what assuming is the mother of

Anybody in the know; are we better with this guy that transferred in or with Boley? Is it the receivers? Then we have Saunders on campus as well. It just seems we don’t develop the position. I thought Boley looked good against Texas last season. Saunders sounds like he’s a winner as well.

From what I read he did pitch for Moeller, just prob doesn’t project as a MLB pitcher. His numbers also looked good hitting. Wonder if he will enroll early in January or wait and play his SR year of baseball.

If it were any position other than QB I think the dual sport deal is doable. Of course it is as a QB too, but I just can't see an OC being happy with his QB missing spring. I think thats why QB give baseball a try and come back to college if baseball doesn't work out.

If he's so unhappy, then why would the OC recruit him? My take: UK needs to take recruiting chances bigger programs don't.

Read today that he's a SS.

Also, his dad played baseball at NKU and he was later an assistant baseball coach there. They live in Hamiltucky.

I do believe he pitches at the HS level, but his prospects for the next will be elsewhere. He may still pitch some, but I would not look for him to be a regular starter or come in for relief very often. However, it is IMHO
