I haven't started "studying" the field yet, thought i'd see what our experts had to say.

You have to like Super Saver. Calvin Borel has been on a hot streak.

For your exotics, Ice Box, Sidney's Candy, Super Saver, Awesome Act, Lookin at Lucky. Wouldn't surprise me to see the filly sneak in there though.</p>

Picking all the favorites in your exotics...

With Eskenderey out it is a wide open race

Of the two current favorites, I hate that Looking at Lucky drew the inside. Don't like that he will be loaded into the gates first and I'm afraid he doesn't have enough speed and will get trapped inside getting mud kicked in his face the whole race. He is definitely enough horse to win it, but I'm leaning another way

Then there is Sidney's Candy on the far outside. This horse is pure speed but has spent his life racing on synthetic out in Cali so it will be interesting to see how he will do in the mud. But he has put up some pretty impressive works so far since getting to Churchill so you can't count him out.

I will be going with Awesome Act. Looked great in the Gotham and had a rough run in the Wood but with this being the 3rd race in the cycle should be his best run yet. Plus I love betting on Leparoux at Churchill.

And to not be a hypocrite, I am going to throw Stately Victor in my exotic bets. Saw this horse run up at Keeneland and was very impressed on the way it came from behind in the Blue Grass.

and the two favs being on the outsideI couldn't agree more with you regarding this being wide open, for some reason I keep going back to Line of David, I always like the Ark derby winners to run a good race.

I like Line of David but he has run a lot lately and I'm afraid he peaked at the Ark Derby.

I love how well Sidney's Candy worked over a sloppy track last week. It is just tough for me to pick one of the favorites in the Derby... If he drops though, I'm gonna have to take him
