Agree. Sadly, unlike RU, this kind of result could actually put Kelly in disfavor at ND.

Well, he's probably right.

They were #6 with a single loss to #1 Clemson... if they had beaten Clemson on the road, they'd have very likely been at least in the Top 3. Then if they had also beaten #9 Stanford, they'd very likely have been #1. Helped in part by the seasons that Navy and Temple have been having.
