yeah, he's cleary lost the edge. He only won half of the events he played this year and finished outside the top 10 one whole time. Look, if you don't even follow golf and you're too stupid to do some internet research on what you're talking about, then just don't comment.thatsbaseball said:he kept getting questioned about drug usage on the tour by people who were covertly pointing a finger at him. His best defense was an offense. Watch his game , he`s clearly lost that "edge" almost overnight it seems.
Please, back up this dubmass comment. Show me how he's "lost his edge." Because he finally lost a major after leading at the 54 hole mark? Because he couldn't make the short/medium putts? As we all know, golfers take steroids to help with their putting, right?he`s clearly lost that "edge" almost overnight it seems.
<div> Secondly, anyone that attacks the tradition of golf, well quite frankly, doesn't understand golf. His temper tantrums and cursing are not good for the game. I would say, few people were more competitive than Jack Nicklaus, and I never saw him act this way. I hear some saying that golf should accept more of today's societal mores, I would say maybe that is backwards and society should learn from Golf.
</div>
Reality is that 95% of PGA golfers don't act this way and I'm not saying Tiger doesn't understand golf. I'm just a traditionalist when it comes to how you approach the game and this is the one area in which I believe he is less than stellar.DerHntr said:<div class="scrolling"> <div><div> Secondly, anyone that attacks the tradition of golf, well quite frankly, doesn't understand golf. this is laughable. should he be more of a man and take it when he hits a poor shot...sure. doesn't understand golf? you have got to be 17ing kidding me. </div> </div>
your analysis of his level of competition has no merit to me or anyone else on the planet. MJ made his competition look weak too, that's just how good he was. Same here.thatsbaseball said:win a major this year against mediocore(at best) competition. Just irony ? Yeah right. Why don`t you do a little of that there "internet research" and get back to me.
completely agree. i just get annoyed at idiots like the one that started this thread. there's no reason to distort facts whether you like him or not.msudawg12 said:just because he's always winning and we all pull for the underdog.
I personally like Tiger, I think he's great for golf and fun to watch and I dont mind his reactions to bad shots because by God who doesn't get frustrated with an awful shot. But, I was definitely pulling for Yang yesterday. It's always fun to watch people chalenge the giants of their sport and that's why a lot of people pull against him
and then...Secondly, anyone that attacks the tradition of golf, well quite frankly, doesn't understand golf.
i hope you can see why this is confusing.I'm not saying Tiger doesn't understand golf
