Pope bashers

[L.O.D.]

Post covid Cal was not great Pope is as bad or worse depending how you score it but its splitting hairs.

We are a used to be , noone respects us , its no longer a destination program for top players . Talk yourself into what you want - thats the truth.

I hate saying it but unless Pope transforms into this great coach in a few months best thing is for him to be fired in Feb giving time to search for a LEGIT coach instead of race to beat portal an settle.

So, how do we know how you really feel?

On the one hand, your last statement would seem to indicate that you don’t have mixed emotions, you love his personality, and hate his coaching style.

However, on the other hand, your last statement of “All my statements in this post are lies.” is also a statement. So, if it’s a lie as well, does that mean your first statements were actually true?

So, now what do we do?

Just when I thought nobody was going to get it...

The next hire could be the most important hire in the history of UK basketball if UK wants to remain even in the conversation. Lots of good X and O coaches exist but for the love of God we better get someone who can evaluate talent and get the players. After that they better have the balls to motivate them. You can get assistants to do the scouting, game plans and X and Os. Pope have failed at this important part and it isn’t going to improve.
