I’ve already said if you’re going to hire pope then just keep cal for a legacy play and the recruiting class. But neither need to be at UK. It’s not a binary, it’s not either Cal or Pope. Neither is the answer.

Lexington does not have a Wal-Mart headquarters throwing money at the school like Arky or loads of millionaires and billionaires like Vandy's alumni and their $10.9 billion endowment. They are set to win from now on as they have no limit money wise. Now that you can buy players with no salary cap, there will be a new top 10 from the richest schools, not traditional basketball schools. I'm glad to have gone to UK during the 70's...
I wanted Calipari gone since 2018. He was a train wreck here, he was at war with everyone like he always is and like he will be at Arkansas if he stays long enough when they get sick of his ego. But yes if you tell me keep Calipari 5 more or bring in Mark Pope I’ll keep Calipari for a legacy play.

Looked unprepared for Vandy's pace and aggressiveness. They've played this way all year so I don't know how we were so ineptly prepared. Embarrassing. Pope and players need to get their heads out of their asses. Arky will put another whipping on us if we play remotely the same on Saturday.
