You’re conventionally gonna ignore how he lost his Sweet 16 game by 2 points last year while Mark Pope got blown out by Tennessee and never stood a chance.
Those missed shots weren’t the issue. The fact we needed them to go in to win was, we should have beat them by 10+ if we execute even halfway. It’s not any one missed shot or turnover it’s the lack of adjustments that’s the issue. You can’t keep doing what doesn’t work and expect different results. That’s the definition of insanity.

Last year we had guys who were experienced and could do things on their own without much actual coaching being needed. I mean Carr, Williams, butler, brea those guys could figure things out on their own. This group is a failure of chemistry. I saw at one point mo getting into it with an assistant. Popes style gets over run by players with ego. The coach has to be the biggest ego.
