You’re right there but Sheppard and Pope were college roommates don’t underestimate that part of the equation too….

It would be foolish for Reed Sheppard to turn down a lottery level contract. The lottery contract will set Reed up for life if he manages himself intelligently. His dad's friendship with Pope does not change anything. I know collegiate players have made this mistake before, but I doubt the Sheppards will. We need to let Reed go and be happy for the year we got to watch him.

I heard somewhere between $5 to $8 million when it's all said and done.

Reed would gobble up about half of that.

We're going to have to live off the portal more than any blue blood due to the bare cupboard right now, but that might be a good thing.

We are getting 4 million in NIL from boosters to start with. None of this is money coming from the Craft's. From what I've heard, is that they we will be doing an additional 4-6 million in NIL. Then whatever the regular fans give. We should be somewhere around 9 or 10 million.

UH...I know no one said that about Pope. My "rolling the ball out" is what Cal did last few years. My point is that Pope knows A LOT about coaching and recruiting. Now he has UK brand and NIL. He will do fine.
