Hurley had a conference tournament championship and a regular season championship (different years) in the A-10. Golden was more of a gamble, his biggest accomplishment was taking San Francisco to the NCAA tournament for the first time in 24 years.
It’s year 3 with Kentucky’s vast resources and he still hasn’t figured it out. He probably never will. Recruiting is somehow worse in his 3rd portal than the past 2. It’s going downhill not up.based on...

If this is still about the elite scorer thing I 100% cornered you with logic that either you claim 13.7 and 14.2 ppg qualify as elite scorers or you admit that you do not necessarily need multiple elite scorers. No other conclusion is possible when considered in a vacuum which is how it was postulated.

I remember reading that we had to pay double for both Wilkins and Diallo... That’s crazy to me. Pope needs to let Wilkins and Diallo just play until they sub themselves out, it will be the only way he will be able to sell the recruits and portal players to come to UK. Right now, the story on Pope is he subs way to much.

Yes. I have moved on. College sports is gone and I could careless about it. That does not mean that I will not check in on what is going on. I treat it for what it is.... ENTERTAINMENT. I think it is hilarious. All the crying about an 18 year not picking a school on the boards timeline.
Study the history of the University and you might be surprised at the Hall of Famers that have coached the Blue and White Football. Bryant, Shula, yes, Hall of Famers!
You can't really say you have moved on when you are on here pretty well every day complaining and insulting our coaching staff and roster. I have certainly not been one of the one's crying, insulting, and making fun of our coach and university over recruiting misses.
I am well aware of Bryant's coaching staff. That was 73 years ago. None of those guys were run off with the exception of Blanton Collier who was head coach here 8 seasons before being fired after going 22-26-2 over his last five seasons (compare to Stoops going 33-30 in his last 5) and then went on to a successful career with the Cleveland Browns. I detailed this thoroughly on here during this past FB season.

I am not complaining. I am telling you reality. Pope is terrible. And I think it is hilarious that there are fans still defending him. Drink the Kool-Aid. Players are awesome when they sign with Kentucky and terrible when they sign with Louisville. Wake up and smell the coffee! This program is done until Pope is gone.

I will take a wait and see approach and hope for the best. Your only potential prize for being right about this is another lackluster season. I see no value in conceding that as fact at this point.
Reality is the last two seasons have been disappointing against trying circumstances with injuries and the two toughest schedules in school history.

Incessant whining and insults from your so called supporters doesn't help a thing. Making excuses and pointing to hard data from unbiased sources are two different things.
