You know, it might take some time for Pope to get the players he wants.

Don't know why anyone was expecting him to compete for a title this season.

Not Pope’s best day coaching for sure - but no. Pope has more wins over top 15 teams in half a season with a team put together totally out of the portal than Cal had in his last 4 years here combined.
Easy to troll after a game like today but, no, you’re wrong. I’ll take Pope and his love for UK 100/1 over slimeball Cal

Cal won a title, a runner up, and two additional final four appearances. That’s not even counting what he did before he was here. Pope hasn’t won a tournament game yet.

I agree with the the love but Cal had a new tea. every year and got bashed when he had losses like this why should it change for Pope?

Yeah but our talent isn’t that great. We are older but not a high ceiling. So more takented, but younger teams, have more room for growth as the season goes on. Not to mention the couple of injuries we have

You must be brain dead, this team has more top wins than any other team in the country, if we had Cal we most likely would have a losing record right now with our schedule. I was not expecting a N.C. this first year, I just wanted to be competitive and get out of the first weekend of the tournament. Plus Vand just took down the Vols this week as well, and yes the Cats played poorly too many unforced turnovers, but your comment makes me think you are a troll.

Do you think Cal and his roster would have a record as good or better than what we have at Pope ?

The way he is looking in Arkansas is most likely how Kentucky would look if he was still here . We honestly don’t know how Pope will end up here but the future looks promising

We all saw the writing on the wall with Cal .

Pope also has a history of losing to teams that he shouldn't does that not concern you? Vanderbilt also has a whole new squad and I feel that's how it's going to be every year with the NIL
