I figure 2 more years of this- KY doesn't want to pay Pope 13.5 after this year- unless they know they can land a big fish. I think if Donovan agreed to come then Pope gone after this year. There are not too many coaches out there that can handle the pressure of this job.

No offense, no one knows what Donovan is going to do, last time I checked he seemed to have no inclination of going back to college coaching.

Doesn’t he get an automatic one year extension if he makes the Sweet 16? I was thinking if he has two years left on his contract and automatically gets one more it would be $19m. I have no problem admitting I’m wrong if this isn’t the case.

his contract was terrible. Somehow we doubled what BYU was paying, gave BYU a $6mil buyout, and put in the sweet 16 auto extension. This was almost as ridiculous as Stoops contract.

I don't know about you all, but I saw a different team late in the game the other night. There's hope. Even the '96 team took a few games to sort things out, and Pitino had to figure out who our point guard would eventually be. It turned out to be Epps. Stead hand, good shooter and passer. Wasn't a dribble driver and didn't need to be. Just find the open man and hit some occasional 3's.
