Niko Sahakian will likely be pretty tough coming off redshirt for Meatchicken.

I think Jax, Seidel, and Davino all bump up to 141. Vega to 149. Blaze redshirts and might be a career 133

A name to watch for is Kody Routledge out of Oklahoma state. He is stuck behind Dee and Rabidou. He is tough. Fargo Champ, Wrestle stat currently has him at #8 with the seniors in their at 165. Plus he's a true freshman who just redshirted. We'd get him for 4 years!

Any truth that the Frost brothers are possibly looking? Could make a lot of sense lineup wise. One thing to remember is Bailey has a redshirt still and people said he was wanting to use it this past year so there is flexibility.

He was another guy that was on my initial list at 165 before I scrubbed it. His family is all in the OKC area and while there is a log jam at 157/165, 174 is going to be wide open after next season. Routledge is an inch or two taller than Lockett and can probably hold the extra weight on his frame better.

If he jumps in the portal, I would love to get him in the room though. The dude took Nicco Ruiz down to the wire this year and he's got a ton of potential.

You can't teach the way Bael or his protege wrestled either, but they seem to have had some success at coaching, unfortunately.

We don’t have quality backups at a lot of weights.
We constantly have injuries
We rarely get pins.
We rarely get back points. We ride just for the sake of riding and not to try and turn guys.
We seem to get out scrambled a lot.
We seem to rely on the portal as opposed to recruiting of late. I know we have a nice class coming in 27 but that could change. I hope not.
We seem to wrestle not to lose instead of wrestling to win in tournaments.

I just don’t see the current staff, as is, getting things turned around.

Olympic athletes are all pros these days. It used to just be the Soviet bloc and other communists, now everyone is getting paid somehow to do their sports, including college (and some HS) kids.

When I saved this, I thought you were talking about Bailey, but now not as sure. If you were, I believe this was his first year at 141, where he was small and underpowered.

I had planned on doing a long post on one of two subjects for my 100th post on the new board but the multi-quote was piling up, and I wanted to comment about Nyla leaving on that thread, so instead you get this mis-mash. I'll probably still do the other posts in the next few days, though. One is a post-season, keep the board alive post that could be interesting or frustrating. We'll see.

You thought that was his problem? He could barely move though the 2nd half of his matches, much of the time.

Doesn’t do anything for us at 133, just to be clear. Neither of them can compete there.
