If the hand and fingers is some type of genetic condition as has been posted, I'd be out on him. Strong healthy hands matter too much in this sport. Plus his effort level in parts of the season and in the final day or two of the tournament was not good.
That is exactly why no one with any knowledge wants to post on here anymore. What Gobblin went through over Spencer was beyond ridiculous.
As much as I would love for the board to be a fount of insider knowledge, I COMPLETELY understand why no one wants to anymore….

Not the same thing at all. Goblin didn’t give a prediction about something in the future that ended up falling through. He stated that Spencer was in his car, at that actual moment, driving back to Iowa. There’s a difference between a prediction being wrong and factually lying about current events. I can only hope he has since apologized to the Lees.

Did this really happen? I thought he was just the classic guy who does get some info but then stretches the truth and/or blurs the line between info and a prediction then deflects when his “info” proves to be wrong. We certainly saw that several times over the years.

If i recall, gobblin wasnt actually at nationals but that is what he was told by someone there that he felt pretty confident in. He reported it as fact and it obviously turned out to be wrong. He was/is as much of an insider as anyone but got that one wrong and lots if folks couldnt get over it.

It wasn't that long ago we were told were were getting Bouzakis and an entire portal haul.
A lot of people seem unable to grasp that situations are fluid and info that was correct when reported may change over time
