QB: Below - But could move to even if Masoli does go to Ole Miss.
RB: Below
OL: Even - If only because Ole Miss does have two OL starters returning...
WR/TE: Below - But could move up because there are senior contributors... Losing Hodge hurts for the Rebels. They do have a favorable schedule though...

DL: Above
LB: Above
DB: Below

K: Even - But Shene is gone.
P: Even
Return: Even - McCluster Green is gone but Ole Miss has talent.

Marshay Green returned punts. Jesse Grandy, and I believe Bolden returned kicks.

Grandy and Bolden are back. The loss of Green as a return man hurts some though.

...maybe because the Rivals site had him backing up Green. And you're right, losing Green will hurt.

QB will be above average if they get Masoli.

OL is below average.

RB is below average, but if a couple of guys live up their potential could be average.

I would say punter is above average as well.

We finished 2009 with the SEC's 4th best net punt average.

Tyler Campbell had the 2nd best punting average in the SEC last year as a freshman. </p>

...but over the course of the season with transitions, etc., the overall grade will be closer to Even.

I considered gradingOle Miss'sOL below average but there are enough schools in the conference that are poor (or have few players returning) that Ifelt like I had tograde them higher than I would have-- in other words, they benefited from a curve... OL position sets is kind of the opposite of wide receivers in the SEC.... The SEC is strong in wide receivers. There are some six maybe even seven teams one could make a good argument for that would be considered above average in the conference and I tried my best to limit the number of schools that were above average to four. I probably will not and have not succeeded in that regard, but I do what I can.

I think I graded only one team above averagein kickers and punters (Georgia) because their players were named to all-America teams as well as preseason all-SEC.
