Arnett Moultrie from UTEP is considering Memphis, Arkansas, and Mississippi State. He played 2 years at UTEP and is evidently pretty good. He's 6'11" 225 and from what I read he was a borderline first round pick this year but withdrew from the draft. Supposedly he's an excellent offensive rebounder and can score. He's from Memphis, and they might have the upper hand, but he will only be eligible to play 1 year there as a penalty for transferring within the conference. Sure would be a nice addition in the paint.

out of Memphis, so keep your fingers crossed......We haven't had much luck getting quality transfers in the past but maybe our "Great Recruiter" can land this fish.......

this way, we've lost a lot more good players to transfer than we've received.......
Dont get me wrong I'm just as pissed at RS as anyone for all the transfers he has every single year. BUT and a big BUT it is you are either on drugs or just simply not knowledgeable if you think the transfers we lost are better than Roberts and Power. More so Roberts without him no chance we win the SEC overall title. Yes Hansbrough could have helped and yes the Delk twins were good and yes Osby would have been good depth this year, but none of those guys could hold Roberts jockstrap.

was better than who........No doubt, Roberts and Powers were very good players.......However, we've had more good players to transfer out than in.........Ervin, Hansbrough, Delk twins, etc...........Those were pretty good players IMO.....None the caliber of Roberts and Powers individually but good players nonetheless....</p>

are that he can only play 1 year instead of 2 i believe. it is applied to memphis because it's within CUSA and it's applied to auburn because his former coach, Tony Barbee, is now the coach there. my guess is that memphis is the team to beat in this situation. even though he can only play there 1 year, since he entered the draft this year he probably only thinks he needs 1 year of college to make the league anyway. also, he's from memphis so that may have some pull. either way, we could sure use a guy like this. i wouldn't count arkansas out, pelphrey is getting desperate. he's been close on other highly rated guys but couldn't close the deal, and he signed a memphis kid this year named mardracus wade.

It might help our chances of getting O'Bryany, and if he decides to transfer to State we can scratch O'Bryant off our prospect list.
