What is the deal with Crawford out of TX only having one star? He had some solid offers, us, Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado State, San Diego State, SMU, UTEP. Has awesome size 6'8 230 did he not start playing until his senior year or something?

is he just someone all the services missed? A DE at 6'8 230 could be really really nice. You can't coach size.

His high school, Hebron High School, is in a suburb of Dallas. Plus, they have had recent success in football, so it's not like he plays at some podunk school in the middle of nowhere. I looked up other prospects from his school for this year and there was only one listed. Maybe there just wasn't enough talent for the scouts to waste their time. But even still, I find it strange that players at a high school that size in Dallas metro wouldn't be evaluated. Maybe it just slipped through the cracks?

You have schools like Vigor and Daphne and others down in Mobile that just dominate every year, and Baker is just not a good football team. I think that contributed to Clausell being overlooked. I think he is better than a 2 star, and him enrolling early will make him that much more valuable. Teams that don't do well in areas that have teams that overshadow everyone elsetend to get overlooked. Crawford and Clausell I think fit the bill on that one.
