"Many of you guys stay on this site because we have promised you that we will be responsible with the information that we have. Sometimes we can tell all and sometimes we have to let it play out.

Here's what I will tell you... MSU has nothing to worry about. The Bulldog family now has people in control that are not afraid to stand up for MSU when others try to run over our University.

If there is anything to worry about is the retaliation by rogue fans who want to repay MSU for raining on their parade.

There is much much more to this story than I can tell at this point. But in a few short days many people will owe John Bond and MSU an apology for acting as if they were just mad over sour grapes. This will involve several schools ... it is much bigger than Auburn. They can just get over themselves. Yes, they are in the spotlight right now but when this is all said and done this will be the type problem that will change college sports.

If all the things I'm told by quality sources are true... they will force change in a big way.

I'm asking you to trust me on this... just let it play out. I trust my sources and I'm asking you to trust them. And before you answer... think about it... when have Paul and I led you down the wrong path?

Lets think about this for a moment: Who would be on our side in the SEC right now?

Alabama- Anyone seriously think that they will side with Auburn over this?

Florida- Urban seems to be more pissed about this than Dan.

LSU will be on our side because we might get them a mythical SEC Championship. And if this all goes down quickly, they may very well end up in the SEC Championship Game.

Georgia hates Auburn as well. They won't side with them.

That's four pretty powerful schools right there.

Auburn is a bully that is nothing but hot air.

If I'm working in the office of the NCAA and get a call from AU about an allegation concerning MSU, who in the hell would put much stock in that phone call? And what school would get involved on their behalf? Most are on our side in this matter. Not saying we can be sloppy in our recruiting as we will need to be very clean.

"this could be a nice new revenue stream to the federal government as we recover from the recession. we could get taxes on ticket sales. players might get a salary, but they would almost certainly get a right to promote themselves and profit from their image. Shumuley is right, bowl games are done. the financial incentive is reduced as corporate sponsorship is not longer a donation to a tax exempt orginazation. this will affect all schools in all states, all players in all sports.

I was watching the Sports Reporters, and one of them mentioned his organization and said that the fact that something like that even exists is fishy.

I can understand if you're a borderline player whose high school coach isn't shopping your tapes around enough to get you a scholarship, but top level recruits don't need a placement service.

People continue to talk about how Auburn is gonna put a target on our back and how this is gonna hurt recruiting and how we will lose favor with other teams in the SEC because of this situation. My question is...how much worse can it possibly get for Mississippi State?? Lose favor how?? Target us how??? Are you going to turn in Sherrill again?? Are we gonna re-re-hire Ron Polk?? Are we going to sentence ourselves to 5 more years of an SEC/NCAA appointed football coach? Will Renardo Sidney's penalty go from 44 games to 88?? I like Auburn and I hate this happened..I really do. But I don't give ONE damn what anybody thinks about this situation outside Mississippi State athletic officials and administration. And I'm fully confident in the new attitude and direction they have us headed. If other schools come after State with some type of vendetta or vengeance...good luck. You can't POSSIBLY do to us in the future what we have already done to ourselves in the past. Now...let's go beat Bama's ***!!
