Post game handshake - or lack thereof

Did anybody get a read on what happened at midfield after the game? Mullen and Richt got within a few feet of each other and then - as I saw it - Mullen bolted towards the student section and Richt headed to the locker room. DIdn't appear that they shook hands, which is rare, even after a heated game.

Didn't see anything written up about it anywhere. There was something on David Murray's recap of Mullen's post game interview when he was asked about the other coaches (ours and theirs) getting into it but nothing specific about him and Richt.

Theories: holdover from the UF/UGA days; chippy/cheap shots by Georgia at the end of the game; frustration.

near mid field. Most of the MSU players had already moved toward the the student section, as had Mullen.

Georgia was not happy losing to us!

i think richt is pissed that mullen hasn't asked for a signed copy of Facing the Giants

... about the cheap shot on Cox after we already had the game in hand. The refs called clipping, but Mullen thought the Georgia player shoulda been ejected.
