1. I cannot excuse the losing of the cowbell. It's like USC losing to Oregon State. There's no good excuse for it. I was the experienced, well-traveled VH that think's he's undefeatable and knows all about the game, and I got lazy and got busted. Which means I'm in the market for a new cowbell. It was only four years old, but damn I liked that particular bell. A moment of silence, please....

2. Not all LSU fans are ********, just the ones that you notice. The ones you don't notice are probably okay.

3. This kid's parents would probably fall into the ******* category.

4. Sylvester Croom is CHICKENSHIT for running the clock out with three time outs remaining and playing for the locker room after his defense got him a 3-and-out with a minute and a half remaining. There were several times in the 3rd and 4th quarter were it would've been a lot nicer to have at least tried to be down by 3 or 7 than by ten. CHICKENSHIT. There's no better way to describe it.

5. I don't know how the hell we got 24 points, but it's the most points I've seen an MSU team score on LSU in eight years. That it only happens to be ten points less than LSU got is sorta impressive too in a weird way, but I digress back to point 4. My own personal moral victory threshold was LSU < 30 points, but still. I don't know....

6. Which one of you is this? Speak up, I know you're on here.

7. Previously stated, but I positively hate that 17ing place. I'm so glad we only go there every other year. HATE. IT.

8. It's damn near three AM. Nighty night.

nice re-cap.
And why haven't more people brought up the special teams miscues? That set up LSU in fantastic field position several times, and the onsides kick. Guh.

Agree wholeheartedly.....Joe Biden (err Bob Davie...you would have had to watch the telecast)....couldnt understand why he didnt try to score....referenced Miles always shows confidence in his players thus they are more apt to respond (or something along those lines)........i thought back to last year's LSU game....i suppose Crxxm didnt want to have a Henig type moment that late in the half.....it was at this moment....i found other things to do around the house...like wash clothes, check email, review contracts, and occasionally check in to see the carnage....but you are right Crxxm is a chickenshit....always playing not to lose instead of playing to win....

And rightfully so, I would add. Special teams was pretty abysmal, but when it comes to Croom-coached team, there is just so much shittiness throughout all three phases of the game that it is often hard to point out and dissect all of them. So, the bitching and complaining usually hones in on the most egregious one and then proceeds to rip Croom mercilessly on it. But yes, other than the opening kick return by Pegues, ST was pretty lackluster.

After all, this is the guy that went for it on 4th and 15 in the Auburn game.

I don't think he is chickenshit consitently. I think he was that one time. Another time he is reckless. I think he goes by his gut feel, which apparently is rather dramatically effected by huge mood and confidence swings. I would LOVE to hear the rationale behind how he makes play decisions during the game. I always got irritated with Jackie's "we did what the chart says" answers. But, that probably is the most objective and best odds way of making those calls. I guess what I ulitmately would prefer would be using the chart, but bowing up and going for it on some really close calls every now and then.

The reason he does all this dumb stuff (like go for it on 4th and 15 with 4:00 and 2 time outs left, then sitting on the ball at the 40 with 1:00 and 3 time outs left, etc.) is because he doesn't have a 17-ing clue of what he should be doing. </p>

Amen. He is clueless as a head coach. kicking game and coverage(including penalties, sucks), offense sucks, adjustments during games, sucks, blaming players constantly, sucks. Only way to fix it is run his *** off. We are the laughing stock of the SEC. Giving this guy and his staff raises plus contract extensions is about as smart as believing meredith has MSU's interests at heart.
