1 week after playing horrendously bad and losing to South Davidson, Lexington is up 30-12 in the 2nd quarter over a McMichael squad with a winning record and moving the ball well. What a wacky deal there.

I’ve seen it the other way around on maxpreps and twitter.

14-14 tie between Elkin and Surry Central at the half. Elkin's doing their homecoming deal now.

Neither team looks that on point so far. SC came out and scored and played lackadaisical for a while. Elkin had a big play go for 6 and SC finally had a QB keeper for a score. Looks like it's going to be closer than I figured. SC just doesn't seem that fired up. Elkin having homecoming is boosting them from the way it looks.
