Rams hangin in there....way suspect offensive play calling....MA D swarms to the ball..
Rams should have had a defensive touchdown. Obvious blown call by the officials.
Half: Murphy 14 - Cherokee 12
No sugarcoating it, Murphy looks horrendous defensively, Cherokee could very easily be up by 2 scores right now.

14-14 tie between Elkin and Surry Central at the half. Elkin's doing their homecoming deal now.
Neither team looks that on point so far. SC came out and scored and played lackadaisical for a while. Elkin had a big play go for 6 and SC finally had a QB keeper for a score. Looks like it's going to be closer than I figured. SC just doesn't seem that fired up. Elkin having homecoming is boosting them from the way it looks.

Yeah they had it backwards earlier glad they changed it around. NFHS still has it the wrong way.

Still a tie between SC and Elkin. SC is ball controlling the clock and Elkin off the field. They've already ran 5 minutes off the clock since getting the ball. Elkin has no answer.

Elkin got a stop finally but SC milked the clock down to 2 minutes left in the 3rd. Still a tie.
Personal Foul against Elkin; shooting theirselves in the foot and are deep in their own territory.
