The stuff that was discussed all day leading up to the game was perfectly relevant. I agree it didn't seem like Stoops has been told his fate. That doesn't mean the rumors weren't true. To suggest that the fans who were discussing the widespread rumors of the coach's imminent dismissal are part of the problem is asinine IMO.
I hope we aren't being trolled. Stoops gone with no buyout is a gift.

I agree with him that Stoops did not look like a dead man walking. That means nothing in regards to whether or not the rumors are true. They very well could be and perhaps the dismissal isn't as imminent as what was being discussed. That being said, to suggest that UK fans who talked about the rumors and believed them instead of blindly believing Stoops did nothing wrong are trolls is absolutely moronic.

I just fail to understand how beating USC and a Matt Jones tweet makes it indisputable evidence that it was false? Why wait until 5 minutes after the game? What if we lost? I also fail to see how the people who talked about it are some hate filled, vitriolic demons.

The rumors changed no minds. The majority were not pleased with the product. Simply hoping if true, the buyout barrier would be reduced if in fact the season doesn't turnaround.

I wouldn't be surprised if Barnhart is just waiting for a loss to make the public scrutiny isn't as strong.

This is a sports enactment of the boy who cried wolf. For now, the swarms of know it all Stoops haters and Barnhart haters will crawl back into the woodwork with tails tucked between their legs. A lot of people ought to be ashamed of themselves, but the anonymity afforded by the rules of the board will give them shelter they need to keep on attacking at the next opportunity. For the record, I have said since June that Stoops will won 4-5 games this year, then win at least 7 games in 2017. Look at all the starters who will be back next year. We need more defensive linemen, but there is a nucleus of young players who can be part of a successful foundation. If anyone is actually paying attention, we learned something important tonight. The extra time that Stoops is spending with the defense is making a positive difference. Which means that Stoops knows DJ Eliot isn't getting the job done as our defensive coordinator. Which means there is now reason to hope this might be Eliot's last season at Kentucky. Which would be essential for Stoops to survive and evolve as a young head coach.
Your belittling of those who disagree that it should take 5-6 years to not get beat by a CUSA team at home with a big lead, crushed and humiliated by FL, give up 500 yards to a sunbelt team and be touted as possibly the worst defense in football in year 4 is tiresome.

Absolutely and the U.K team. Been a long time since we have had this kind of depth be it young. I am behind this staff and this team even if we go 5-7. I see a program moving forward. In order to build this we need continuity. I think Eddie Gran will be a huge help on the recruiting trail. I am positive on the program. I don't have an axe to grind.

I examine myself as a fan every year. I question my sanity for watching the same thing year after year while expecting a different result . The problem of UK football is way beyond the fan base
I was at the game last night and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. His wife and kids were with him at the cat walk, pre game, post game, etc.
