Is this a common occurance in other states? Maybe its so localized that it never makes news but I don't hear a lot aboutplayers who commit to UF over Miami and FSU and it turns into a circus.

Basically the Junction allowed him to tell the whole story and put his comments from yesterday into context.

If Pouge is telling the truth, he only said what he knew at the time. Doesn't look like Pouge did anything wrong.

Brassell confirmed commitment this a.m. to Paul. Pogue's side of yesterday is interesting, too. This whole thing is ridiculous. I hate to think what kind of pressureBrassell and Market will be under the next few months in Batesville.

Brassell & Market: We're committed to MSU coach

Coach: Then call everybody else and tell them you are shutting it down and yo u don't want to hear from them anymore. (Coach wants his team focused on football and not on recruiting)

Brassel & Market: Coach, we still want to hear what everybody else says

Coach: Well then you aren't committed.

Recruiting junkies: What up, Coach?

Coach: They aren't committed.

I wish more recruits would view it that way. Don't advertise your "commitment" even if you plan on listening to other schools - whether it be to milk some fun out of it or not. I don't care if a recruit wants to get a few free trips out of the deal. I'd do the same thing if I were in that position. Just say you are leaning one way or another and that you decision will be made in the future. If you use the word "committed", it should mean that.
