Anyone knowledgeable on MS Native American history/archaeology? I'm looking for info on Poverty Point Culture in MS.

Can't help you but I want to go to that place, BAD. I live way up in NE Miss so it's not a day trip.
It is. But if you can't do it as a day trip it is better to stay in Vicksburg. Because your other logical choice is Monroe, LA and that place is a ********.
Or you can rent a cabin on the lake. Play a round at Black Bear while you're there.
There are at least three recognized sites in MS (https://www.mdah.ms.gov/timeline/zone/b-archaic-period/) including in Carroll County (off Highway 7 a few miles north of Greenwood). The Carroll site is the one I'm interested in, but it is not marked and is likely on private property. I know the area well, but can't narrow it down to the site. I've searched via google earth for mounds, but can't find any as they have probably long since been leveled for farming operations. There are probably only a handful of people who are familiar with this site and I'm hoping one reads this board. I can understand the farmer not wanting the site well known.

One of the Oldest multicultural sites in NA History. Was used for 1000’s of years…abandoned for years, inhabited again….then the people vanished again.
The museum, if you are into mound culture…it’s a must see. Watch the video.
They recently discovered another mound on the complex 4-5 years back.
The artifacts recovered there leave you with more questions than answers.

I "roughly" know where it is, i'm trying to find exactly where it is, I actually have a couple of locations in mind. If you can narrow the precise location down on a current map, that'd be great. Swamps dry up and become hunting or farm land, river channels change, levees are raised, new roads are cut, ponds and lakes dry up and new ones are formed, etc. The current levees (you'll see on google earth) were built in the late 70s/early 80s.
Hopefully someone on this board has some in depth knowledge on Mississippi's NA/Poverty Point Culture.

Just fly in to Tallulah Regional airport. Make sure you stop by Daquiri World, get some cheap liquor and lottery tickets at the Chevron. NOT THE TEXACO. Go to PJ’s and get a snowshoot then drive across the old bridge to the Washington Street Waffle House if it’s a Wednesday make then extra drive to Harrah’s 25 cent wing night but don’t fall down the escalator or else they’ll start monitoring drinks served.
We stayed in Vicksburg on the way to the Snow Bowl. Not sure which hotel, but we spent a good deal of time in the casino. It's a nice place to visit, and the Battlefield Park is a must-see.
Hmm. I’ve only driven through Monroe and Montgomery, but at first blush I would have assumed Monroe > Montgomery.
It’s the farmland between Teoc Creek and Sharkey Bayou swamp, right?

That’s the general area I suspect.
I agree with greenbean that there’s a good chance that area is grown over and/or a lake might have shrunk/dried up.
You can see that when you compare the Map on Page 2 with the Google Earth Map.
That’s why I was saying that a county road or land map from the late 60s/early 70s could be helpful.

That's the general area I'm thinking. The the book states surveying stakes were left, so i wonder if it is the undisturbed section of the field at 33.596596, -90.087694?
It’s described as a hill, right? If so, it would be farmland today. Now, it might have been leveled off.
It was farmland. We know that from the book.
We also know it’s about 200 yards east of where Teoc Creek flows into the Yalobusha.
Considering both maps, it could be a bit further north and west but in that same area.
