At the local state and federal levels.

When we give one branch of government all this power as we are seeing around the country right don’t be surprised when it’s abused during other times.
City councils giving mayors power to stop the sale of guns and alcohol. State senates giving governors power to seize private property.

How much more power are we going to hand over because of this virus? How many of our rights are we gonna hand over to one branch of the government? Living free comes with high risk.

this is happening with both democrat and republican mayors governors and president

In times of crises, the Executive takes center stage, and in years following, legislatures and Courts chip away at power grabs and abuses.

Although not directly related to your question, for the most radical/extreme (American) examples of when things go real damn bad, Google “the New Orleans Trials.”

Doctors and Nurses who allowed some patients to die, and cops who shot folks in New Orleans were all acquitted by local juries, post-Katrina; exigent circumstances have frequently occurred in our nation, but our liberties have been preserved. Lincoln probably went as far as has any Executive in our nation’s history, at one time jailing perhaps 20 percent of Baltimore’s male adult population without probable cause hearings or trials.

Speaking of the executive branch...member of Pence's staff just tested positive.

Good thing they're all practicing social distancing...smh
