I just had a conversation with a Montini grad last week and they asked how good Samson was and I responded that I haven't seen someone take over a game like he does since Montini's Jordan Westerkamp.

We definitely had problems with Evans. Three others I can think of we had trouble with was a QB from SHG in the state title game, Ty Isaac from JCA and Greg Turner from Driscoll.

In the SHG game your defense made absolutely no adjustments for the continual QB draw. Making defensive adjustments seems to be Montini's weakness over the years.

The reason we lost was Coach Leonard told his SHG QB during the game that his key was LB Nile Sykes. On every down the QB either ran the ball or passed the ball based on whether Sykes was rushing the passer or dropping back in coverage. They wanted to take Sykes out of the game.

The Broncos did not figure it out until after the game when someone from SHG told us.

Funny because against Cary evans had less than 100 yards i belive somehwere in the 60's but carys tyler Pennington didn't do much either.

He had a strained quad for that game and most of the season. He almost didn't play.
