Hopefully the teams do have plenty of liquid (gatorade/water/whatever they use these day) and are using common sense with heat breaks.
Is GW still practicing at Bonner? Hottest field on the earth to practice on. I see they’ve been going hard in the weight room. Great numbers too.
Depending on the schools athletic trainer, I see a whole lot of practices being altered this August due to the heat. If it stays like this, it will be difficult for teams to get in practices with full pads.

Word came today that Eagles will NOT be new field house on August 1st. Moving back into the old Memorial Field House presumably for the duration of the season. Crazy! Rome was built faster than these renovations. Ground was broken over a year ago. And no Bo, sadly, word is new gym won't be ready until January.

Varina dodging the smoke! I saw they put up that they were playing “a powerhouse” instead. Not sure if it’s the same date. Let’s run it back with Huguenot.
GW is working to schedule Dudley? That’s big stuff. Should be a regular season game for football & basketball along with Reidsville too.
The NC Schedule has bumped up a week makes it harder in this cycle to schedule NC
Dudley had the 16th of August open but it would have required us and Heritage to move back. Too much last minute switching so GW will keep the date with Heritage in Lynchburg on the 16th. The Eagles now plan to travel down to NC to participate in an 8 team jamboree at SW Randolph HS south of Asheboro on Saturday morning, August 10th.
