Not sure why they're even playing the next two weeks...if ever there was an example of an anointing being the right course of action...Prairie Ridge would be it.

Yes, pay no mind to the team on the other side of the bracket that has running clocked every team they've played in the playoffs so far. Worked well for Montini in the past...

And since PR is a public, boundaried school, now what should be done?

I meant that semi-sarcastically...moreso amazed they put up 71 points in a quaterfinal game.

I saw the QF last year vs LF and had a feeling of a similar result but not this bad of a result. Holy cow.

Anything on where he is going to school?

Not really. Heard NIU was in the radar haven't heard much else. Have heard a lot of teams are looking at him as a safety at the next level.

Could see him QB at Georgia Tech or Air Force as well.

Why the shot at Montini? When have you ever seen Coach A have a team looking past an opponent?

Yeah unfortunately as a QB you have to be able to throw. I have no doubt he can throw at the high school level but with PR's offense throwing a ton is not a necessity.

He needs to switch in college, see him being recruited as ATH.

If he does play QB in college it would have to be in a RPO system or true option.

He could very easily play a number of positions with his size and speed.

They've got a lot back next year too so it's scary to think how much better they can be next fall.

What do they lose this year? OL, DL? I was so dizzy by the 2nd quarter of the MCHS-PR game, I have blocked all memory of the game.

Have to look again MC. I know Jenkins their best linemen - 2 way player and Evans are back. Beyond that not entirely sure.

Interestingly enough, the TCYFL Championships were this past weekend at Carmel HS. I was there watching my nephew play for Grant. PR's Heavyweights played after his team. While waiting for the awards presentation I saw many players from the PR high school team on the sideline cheering on the Jr program. Someone pointed out Samson Evans was on the sideline watching his two brothers play for that team. I think his dad was the head coach? Anyway, the PR team was small but very impressive. We ended up staying there and watched them beat Crystal Lake. Both brothers were very good.
When they were getting their awards, one of the parents mentioned the kid program has won or been in the heavyweight championship the last 4 years winning 3 of them.

Then while driving home, the damn Score Bear post game, Hub starts taking about Samson, PR's victory over Lake Forest.and their youth program winning 3 super bowls at 3 different weights.

Let's just say....there is more than Samson & Jenkins.

I was there - Samson has just one brother and it was the QB Carter who is a heck of a great player. Coaches against him twice and he is a beast. Tommy isn't related but a terrific player and tremendous wrestler.

It's safe to say that PR is in good hands for a long while. Lots of talent in that program.

And yes Samsons dad was HC. Super nice guy.

At the Montini game it appeared that 3 of the 5 primary linemen were Juniors (including Jenkins). Of their 4 main offensive backs, 2 of the 4 are Juniors (including Samson). It sounds like their Fresmen went undefeated and had a few kids play up on the Sophomore team. I guess they lost the Heavyweight Super Bowl last year to Warren.

They did. Warren Freshmen and PR freshmen didn't lose a game this year. A number of those freshmen at PR are getting real time varsity experience in the playoffs which is great for that group.

Ok, now that makes sense. I didn't know Warren and PR had such a good rivalry. One of the PR dad's was talking about the semi win over Warren being special and beating the cross town rival as icing on the cake. Was it a close semi game?

Yah they kicked our butts pretty good this time. It's a great rivalry because it's clean hard fought football without any of the BS. I have a ton of respect for that program
