Some of you may know John Chester from Madison. He's an MSU alum and a sixpack reader (I don't know his user name). Anyway, yesterday he apparently had a mild stroke in the middle of the afternoon. (Numbness in left side, slurred speech, etc) An ambulance was called, but he began feeling better and refused to go to the hospital. Later that evening he got worse and an ambulance was called again and took him to St. Dominics. They found a blood clot in his brain and did emergency surgery. He is in ICU and the initial doctor report was encouraging but the next few days are very critical. They won't know the extent of any brain damage from the clot (if any) until then. He is 47 years old.<div>
