My brother found out last week that he has tongue cancer. The overall statistics for survival of oral cancer are pretty sobering (something like 90% 1-year survival rate and 55% 5-year survival rate). However, they did catch it at an early stage and there does appear to be reason to believe his outlook will be better than average. In any case, any prayers any of you may want to say for him would be very much appreciated. (BTW MJoelner, this is the brother you went to school with and not the other one).
