Pre-game BP?

For you dudes who frequent the Dude a lot, do they take on-field BP before some/all home games? I know they do in the show other than some day games, but I can't say I have gotten to a recent college game early enough to know. We did at the little NAIA school I played at, but that was years ago, and the crowds were small enough that we didn't anticipate losing that many practice balls.

Taking my sons to an upcoming game, and just trying to decide if we should get there 2 hours early.

they do take BP on the field, but it's customary for the visiting team to go 2nd. So by the time we open the gates, MSU is usually finished.
