Pre-season line for State/Bama game

Go ahead and get this out of the way.....long time reader first time poster.

Now on to the important stuff. I was listening to Chad Millman (a good ESPN Handicapper) on the radio and his futures line game of the year is State +8 @ betus.com against Alabama. Alabama will just be getting through a huge game with LSU and we will be coming off of a throttling of UT Martin. I have had the most luck putting in some bets at the beginning of the year before the season starts and the lines get adjusted.

Just for the sake of discussion, what do you guys think about taking State at +8 this early?

in the 70`s and 80`s we played LSU every year after they played Alabama and in one 11 year stretch we won 9 games. They weren`t as good as they are now but it was still a good run. I like us and the points(I`d rather have 10) at home.</p>

Playing LSU the week before didn't seem to affect Bama the last 2 seasons, and we had byes the week before. I love the Dawgs, but I'd bet Bama at +8.
