After what I saw today , Richmond should be at least 13.......The Raiders are Alive......Visiting/Scouting Coaches should stay in the stands and not on the field.....nuff said......

I know it is just a preseason poll, but Providence, East Wake, Conley and Millbrook ahead of Butler, Dudley and Richmond.....WOW!!!!!

Scotland right below MC and way ahead of The Bern?....May be very true according to the different nature of sources which provided their specimen of legit statistics.

Is New Bern down from last year or has Scotland just picked up a bunch of great kids

Dudley should be top 5, Indy, AK, Vance, top 10. Watch out for North Meck. They wre going to surprise alot of ppl

I think Deanna's poll is more in line than Maxpreps.

Some teams are ranked too high and some shouldn't be ranked.

Butler is not #3 right now, and probably won't be this season. I appreciate the ranking - which I assume is based largely on past accomplishments - but this team has a ton of holes right now and a LOT of issues are going to have to be sorted out before Butler can even become an eventual top 10 candidate.

With early games against #1 Mallard Creek, top 10 (3A) Western Alamance, Hough and @ Richmond, this team is likely going to have a couple of losses (if not more) before September is even half done.

CT your posts are always entertaining and usually make me laugh. It's hard to dispute most of what you typed here but the part about running coach into retirement is just bush-league and classless. Coach Braswell got diagnosed with cancer in his back long b4 Hoggard & NB scrimmaged in August. The Bears could have won that game in December by 1 point and he still would have retired for the same reason he did. Hope you are doing well and the Bears have a fine season in 2015.

Ms King has a leg up she has all the teams info an previews in here loaded book if you don't have one you should get one. All the things have to turn out now on the field rankings will change quickly if teams aren't prepared.

Us 11? Hahaha wow. I could very well see us being that good, but replacing almost every non-lineman position on offense, just dont know what to expect. And i think i was told Lake Norman was 17th?!? Not a chance that happens lol

I think from what I've seen that NW Guilford is way too high right now and East and West Forsyth is too low in the Maxpreps poll. I know its just scrimmage games but NW has looked pretty good at times and at other times really struggled
