Disappointed with Mark howard this morning, I've been streaming 104.5 at my office and they didn't say a word about the season opener tonight except on the "sportsflash" attop of the hour.

That George guy that was on in the afternoon, I heard he bailed when the station changed ownership. He was good about covering the Predators,will the guy hosting on there now in the afternoon cover the hockey team?

I was thinking the same thing this morning. Mark Howard actually works the Preds games for Fox Sports South so I thought for sure he'd say something. He's also a big Yankees fan though, so maybe he's still upset about the game last night.

George Plaster and Willy Daunic were both big fans of the Preds, but both have left 104.5 (I'm not too heartbroken over this, Plaster thinks Nashville sports revolve around only him. I thought Daunic was good though). Willy just left 104.5 today, so I'm not sure who will be on in the afternoons now;

The morning show and 3 hour lunch do a fairly good job covering the Preds, but between Titans and NFL news, SEC football, and Playoff Baseball I guess they let the opening of hockey season slip. The tennessean has quite a few articles on hockey season starting if you need a Preds news fix today.

If you want your Preds fix now, you're going to have to get it from 102.5 The Game. They the rights to the games, the morning show has daily updates with the Coach Trotter (I think), the call-in shows, etc.

I'd imagine George and Willie will wind up working afternoons on 102.5 soon enough. Bleh...

Being new to Nashville, I can't understand why people rave over this guy. His voice and that slow, over-enunciated delivery is very annoying. He did nothing but kiss the *** of whoever he was interviewing, and quite honestly asked nothing but softball questions.

I, for one, will not miss him on the radio.
