1. Chris Warren is going to drive Rebel fans crazy over the next three years, and will be the same player as a senior that he was as a freshman. He will hit some big shots, but will shoot them out of some games too. Think Jamont Gordon in Gary Ervin's body.
2. Huertas is going to challenge for first team All SEC.
3. With White and Cranston, opposing teams are going to pound the ball in the paint all year.
4. Any time the white guy comes in, teams should extend pressure. He is as bad as the little white PG that LSU used to play.

and West Virginia goes up by one at the other end with 9.1 seconds left. This has been a good game.. between two mediocre teams.

anyone can beat them. They have some good young talent (White, Malcolm White, Holloway), but they can't step up and make big shots. Their rebounding looks about like our free throw shooting.

- Warren misses 2 FTs that would have given Ole Miss a 3 point lead with 21 secs...

- Then ..down 1, Warren dribbles it off his knee with 9 seconds left.

Warren takes some very questionable shots, just like J-Money. Huertas caught fire at the end of last year and figured he would have a big year this year. I thought the same thing when I saw how thin their post guys seem to be.

The reason anyone can and will beat us is because we can't rebound for ****. All of our post players are new to D-1 basketball, with the exception of White, and he played sparingly last year. Honestly, I don't think any of them have ever had to block out anyone.

Edited to add: Last year for us was a good example of how good rebounding can make up for a lot of short comings, and this year you're going to get a good example of how poor rebounding can kill you no matter how well you shoot the ball.

My prediction for our team is that we'll be on the NIT bubble at the end of the year. We'll win more than we lose, but we won't be good enough to lock up a sure thing NIT bid.
